Once you get married you have to understand that the next question that everyone will ask you is, "When are you going to have a baby?" It's like no one is comfortable with you being able to enjoy where you are currently residing in your state of holy matrimony. However, you must get used to it because parents want to be grandparents, brothers want to be uncles and your married friends with children are tired of hearing about your exploits as a couple without kids. When you're ready go for it, but make sure you're ready. E and I made a commitment that we would wait a year after we got married before we started to try to start a family. If you do the math you'll quickly realize that it didn't take us very long to put some bread in the oven.
Now for the big question? How do you know you've got some bread in oven? That's where the urine-based pregnancy tests come in. Pfizer Pharamacueticals has been making millions off of these home-based pee test for years and when 6 weeks passed with no period, my wife opted for the EPT. These test are basically idiot proof and they tell you within seconds whether or not you've just signed up for a life long obligation.
For me I was awakened to my wife's urge to put all of the waiting and guessing aside. If you're trying to have a baby, you've definitely got to have a few of these EPT pregnancy tests on hand. Make sure you always have two because regardless of how accurate the box says they are you're going to have to do it twice just to make sure. A plus sign (+) means that you're in business. A minus sign (-) means back to the drawing board. As you can see from the picture I'm definitely going to be a daddy.
