The belly is growing and I'm certain that our little one is starting to make itself right at home inside the womb. According to the internet pregnancy gurus, Baby White's nails are now formed and his or her ears have moved from the neck to the head. The baby is about 3 ounces and 6.3 inches long. So far so good. We have another OB appointment next Thursday.
On the home front you can expect to start having several long conversations about what of life will be like A.B. (After Birth) if you haven't already done so. Topics will run the gamut, but you can expect to discuss what you and your partner are going to do in terms of careers and working after the baby arrives. E and I both strongly believe that our children should be raised by both of us with one of us staying home full-time. I'm equal opportunity on this front. If E decides that she wants to work I'd be more than happy to stay home. The good news is that should E opt to stay home, we're in a position where we could afford it. We understand that not all families have that option and we don't take it for granted. We truly feel blessed.
On a good note E is starting to get back some of her energy and she can stay up past 10:30, something she hasn't been able to do in a few weeks. All I can say to expecting fathers is, "Keep on enjoying the ride because I'm having a blast!" It's not fun and games everyday, but for the most part it's a pretty amazing thing that happening right now and I definitely don't take that for granted.

Hello Baby White, D & E.
This is your grandmother. We are all excited by your impending arrival in the spring. GM (grandmother) is going to bring you back some fantastic duds from my visit to Hong Kong next month. You are in our prayers because we know you are a blessed, smart and a beautiful baby. Tell momma to play you some nice soothing music and the next time they put you on camera, give GM a wave. GM
Now thats what I would consider a great Job, stay at home Dad!! But seriously, that is the best thing for raising the little ones, and we support it . After all , it seems to have worked for us.
Great to hear that you Dave have volunteered to be a house husband! Now imagine changing diapers for the umpteenth time, doing the laundry, getting dinner fixed, making the beds, etc. etc, Are you Insane ? Its going to be great though, just wait till the baby sleeps all night, you might too.
