Well folks I just wanted to let you know that NJ went to her very first professional baseball game this evening. Although I always thought that her first professional sporting event would be a trip to FedEx Field to see the Redskins play, tonight's game wasn't too bad either. Our attorney scored us some really sweet Orioles field box tickets along the third base line at Camden Yards. We were the last row of seats next to the field. The players were so close you could almost touch them when they strolled by. NJ was great throughout the entire game and I really think she just enjoyed being outside. It was a beautiful evening and the O's won 6 to 1 over the Devil Rays.
I've been to my share of O's games, but never quite like tonight's. During the 3rd inning the Orioles 3rd base coach actually tossed me a baseball, which I plan on giving to NJ as soon as she's old enough to appreciate it. During the 5th inning NJ and I were featured on the JumboTron during the game. In true fatherly style I hoisted NJ up in to the air for the whole stadium to see.
Ultimately NJ will never remember any of tonight's events, but E and I sure will and it will be a memory we'll have for a lifetime. Enjoy the new pictures!

P.S. NJ can hold a ball all by herself!!! I think I'm going to cry.
