E, NJ, and I spent a very relaxing weekend with E's family in Gettysburg at Gi Gi and Pa Pa's house in the mountains. NJ got to spend some time with her cousin M and E and I got to appreciate how much we love our queen-sized bed. Over the weekend the 3 of us spent our sleeping hours in a full bed. Any of you who know us understand how that could be just a little uncomfortable. Add in a growing baby that likes to sleep horizontal on a vertical bed and you begin to see the problem. However it was great to see everyone. As it turns out this was our 7th year of celebrating Mi Mi's birthday at the house. How time flies.
This morning my heart filled with joy when I looked at NJ and said the word "Happy". About a second later she looked at me with her big beautiful brown eyes and said "Happy" right back. I could have almost cried.
