NJ'S Pre-Birthday Weekend

As you all know, NJ's birthday is on the 9th, but E and I wanted to have a small birthday party with all of NJ's kid friends and their parents. Hats off to E who organized the entire event. She baked cupcakes and made two amazing chicken and fruit salads. The crazy thing, which I'm still getting used to is that the party was at 10:30 in the morning. This was definitely a first for me. I've been to a few parties at 10:30A. The only problem is that they always started the night before. For all those non-parents who follow the blog, the party had to start early because most babies take naps around 1P. My, my... how the times have changed.

It was a wonderful affair. We had a beautiful day. NJ got some cool stuff and fun was had by all.

On Sunday we continued to take advantage of the awesome weather. Apparently NJ is loving bubbles these days so I took some shots of E and NJ in the back yard spending some quality time together.

Hard to believe two years have gone by since we brought little NJ home. Before you know it we'll have another little bundle to add to our basket of joy.
