When we first started the blog over two years ago E and I made a comment about how much new found respect we had for our parents and for the sacrifices that they had made on our behalf. I'm here to tell you in today's entry that respect has now grown exponentially with NJ's full blown arrival into the "Terrible Twos" The last few days have been trying to say the least. Nap time has become a monumental struggle of wills, hers against ours and right now the score is NJ 4 Parents 0. Despite our best efforts, plots, and schemes NJ has thwarted every one of our attempts to get her to go down. So for all the parents out there, it's OK to have thoughts of selling your child to the gypsies. I'm sure at some point our parents wanted to sell us too.
JK on the other hand is a dream (so far). Not to coin Forrest Gump, but, when she's tired...she sleeps. When she's hungry...she eats. And when she has to go...well you know...she goes.
Words of thanks go out to Aunt D who came up and helped us over the weekend as well as thanks to Mi Mi J who is still here helping out with the babies and Beeps. We don't know what we would do without you all.

Had the same problem with naps.. i was persistant and then they finally gave in. Alternatively, taking a drive helped.. starbucks drive thru and then a sleeping baby. you have a beautiful family.
