Is That A Bear?!?!

Hey folks!

Sorry for the delay in posts. The family was away on vacation last week in the mountains of PA. It was just what the doctor ordered. In true E family fashion we journeyed to an ultra remote area in the mountains of North Central PA. No cell. No Internet. No electronic nada. On the first day we had no electricity for a few hours due to a pretty severe thunderstorm. On our way up we actually got detoured 3 times on the way to the house due to downed power line and trees. However we couldn't of asked for a better vacation. It was filled with hiking, biking, tubing, ice cream and just all around good family fun.

We called today's entry "Is that a bear?!?!" because in the 7 days we were there we came across 2 bears up close and real personal. See for yourself. I shot the video. I apologize for the shaky picture. It was the camera...not me :)

We took a lot of great pictures, but they can't even come close to capturing the beauty of the area. I've attached a few along with some video that we thought you might get a kick out of.

NJ had a great time. I think E and I might have an Xtreme Athlete on our hands. She took to the water like a fish and we had to pry her away from the river. Notice how she tries to brush Beeps off when she's tubing.

A really big thank you goes out to Mimi J and Beeps for planning such a wonderful vacation. That was one the history books (even if I still found a way to get Internet access)
