Good Things Happen in Threes...Make That Fours

It has been fun catching up with my family and friends in the past few weeks while telling everyone our baby news. I’ve also enjoyed the love and support of D. I always knew he’d be happy to become a daddy, but his level of joy and excitement has surprised and delighted me. I couldn’t ask for a better partner during this experience.

Luckily, when my hormones are raging, my body is changing and D just doesn’t understand, I’ve got some really great girlfriends on whom I can rely. As a bonus, my friend K, who was also my maid-of-honor, is pregnant and will be having a baby in December. She has been a great resource for me, always allowing me to ask any questions and telling me exactly what I need and want to hear.

This weekend I got some more wonderful news from another one of my bridesmaids. H is pregnant with TWINS and her due date is a mere 10 days before mine. How exciting is that! Now I have a friend who is going through the same thing that I am, literally at almost the same exact time, albeit, her symptoms are probably twice what I’m experiencing. I have a feeling we’ll be on the phone with one another quite a bit.

So, that’s three mommas and four babies from one bridal party at the same time! I can’t seem to wipe the silly smile off my face.
