Nursery Update 2

This weekend was jam packed with a lot of stuff for E and me, but we did get a chance to get some work done on the nursery. After a weekend that included a doctor's appointment, getting life insurance, a weekend visit from my sister from Hong Kong and a dinner party with E's family for her Mom's B-day we managed to get out and do some shopping for the baby. Babies 'R Us is quickly becoming one of our favorite weekend hangout spots. E gets particularly excited when we go these days because we get to park in the "Expecting Mothers" parking spots, which are almost as good as the Handicapped spots in terms of closeness. We went in today and picked up the crib bedding for the nursery. We also stopped by Home Depot to pick up a new ceiling fan for the room. I have to say that I'm quite proud of myself. I actually installed a ceiling fan for my very first time with almost no trouble. I say almost. I found a ceiling fan that has a remote control and light dimming feature. It's pretty cool. I'm just impressed that I managed not to electrocute myself.

Here's a close-up of the crib bedding that E and I liked. Not only did it look good in all the pictures we saw, but it really looks good in the room. The contrast between the yellow on the walls and the colors in the bedding make for a peaceful and fun looking room.

The search continues for the perfect rocker so stay tuned for more updates.
