Saturday marked the 37th week of our pregnancy and Baby White is now considered full-term. Technically, Baby White could hit the scene any day now. However the baby still hasn't turned yet, but it looks like he or she is trying to. We had our regularly scheduled Friday appointment and our Dr. ordered yet another ultrasound to determine the baby's position. Turns out that Baby White is lying traverse across E's belly. I totally called it when we went in the for the test. The good news is that we no longer see any umbilical cord around the baby's neck so the odds are getting better that we won't have to have a C-section. Now it's up to God, Baby White and the Doctors.
During the ultrasound we got to see Baby White's eyes, nose and lips. He or she has a big old head and get this...Baby White is weighing in at 6lbs 14oz which is up over 1lbs 6oz from last week's test if it's accurate. Either way Baby White could end up being a big baby.
The gifts keep on rolling in. E and I are working on the Thank you cards, but until we can get them out let us be the first to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity. E and I truly feel blessed to have such good friends and family. The support and love that everyone has given us has been nothing short of amazing.
The nursery is almost complete. With the exception of some touch up paint the room is ready. Our baby glider came in on Friday and I spent a little time setting it up this afternoon. I think E likes it. It's definitely comfy.
As you can see from my picture I'm definitely ready for diaper duty...goggles and all. Now it's all about the waiting game.

David you are so funny!!! I am happy you added more to the blog... I was checking for more news! Thank goodness the cord seems to not be an issue now. Very excited for Baby White. will keep checking blog, keep us posted!

Oh and by the way, E looks beautiful and her belly looks nowhere near big enough to have a 7 lb. baby in there!
If BW has any say in the matter, and if BW takes after Beeps, you better equip yourself with a GAS Mask too!!!.
