Another Family Weekend

Here's a lesson for all those new parents and expecting parents out there. The sooner you accept it the better off you'll be. Here's the lesson...once you have a child you will be instantly reduced to the transporter of your new baby. You will have virtually no other value other than chauffeur. Once upon a time your parents and family actually cared about what was going on in your life. Trust me that ship has sailed. If they do ask they're only being polite. Their real goal is to gain as much information about the baby as they can. Just accept it. You'll feel better in the morning.

So this weekend E, NJ and I road tripped up to E's Grandparents on her father's side so that they could finally meet the new arrival. E's brother and sister-in-law came up too with baby M, NJ's cousin. NJ is really lucky because she has both sets of Great Grandparents still alive on E's side and she even has a Great grandparent alive on my side too. I guess the Census is right, people really are living longer these days.

So we've got lots of new pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
