I think we owe everyone out there an apology. Who knew we had so many people waiting on Baby White news. E and I have been completely covered up over the past few weeks. E is in the midst of finalizing her Ph.D and business for our company is booming. I feel like I've been living out of a suitcase and E is hole up typing away on her thesis. The good news is that we've got lots of new news to report along with a brand new picture of E's growing belly. So where shall I begin.
First things first, we had our fourth doctor's appointment last Thursday. It was fairly routine. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat again. It was right at 140 beats per minute, well within the acceptable range (120-160). We still get giddy every time we hear the swooshing sound of our baby's heart. The doctor also measured E's fundus (aka the top of the uterus) and it was right where it should be. We've got a myriad of tests coming up in the next few weeks. Everything from Gestational Diabetes to RH Factor to Iron Deficiency tests. It's a little overwhelming, but the good news is that E can officially feel the baby moving around, particularily after she eats. I want her to drink a cup of Starbucks Coffee to see what happens, but apparently caffeine is not good for the baby. I can actually put my hand on E's stomach and feel the baby moving around in there. Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K.

What a delight to have a "runnning" commentary on my first grandchild. It is simply wonderful to live at a time of such great technology to permit such creativity for so many...
Never did I think that such an event would be so exciting and interesting. All the best to Baby White and to E and D. May Almighty God continue to bless the Whites!
